The BSc (Hons) International Business Management (Top-Up) at Beacon International College is a 12-month degree designed for students who already hold relevant higher-level business or management qualifications. Delivered through blended learning in Singapore's Central Business District, around one minute from Telok Ayer MRT, the program is available full-time or part-time. Successful students earn a 120-credit honours degree awarded by the University of East London, UK.
The six core modules are Mental Wealth 3: Global Enterprise and Consultancy Practice; Corporate Social Responsibility and Ethics; Leadership in a Global Context; Contemporary Issues in Marketing; Intrapreneurship and Entrepreneurship in Practice; and International Economics and Finance.
You will examine business and management across international and intercultural settings, analyse data to develop solutions to complex business problems, understand the forces shaping senior management decisions, and communicate ideas effectively as an individual and as part of a team. The program also strengthens leadership, consultancy, teamwork, entrepreneurial and employability skills for today's multinational business environment.
Applicants should be at least 18 years old and hold at least a BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma or a polytechnic diploma in a business- or management-related field, equivalent to the first two years of a degree. Recognition of Prior Learning and Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning may be considered for admission with credit on a case-by-case basis.
English entry requires IELTS 6.0 overall, with at least 6.0 in Writing and Speaking and 5.5 in Listening and Reading, or an equivalent qualification.
